Product Description of Molecular Sieve Desiccant

Molecular sieves binder is selected from kaolin or attapulgite. After baking at high temperature, it is naturally cooled to room temperature in a sealed jar, and then it is shipped from the factory. It has the characteristics of high strength and strong water absorption. It is mainly used in automobile braking systems, gas drying systems and dry pneumatic braking systems of automobiles, heavy trucks, trains and ships.
It can exhibit high water absorption at low partial pressures and temperatures up to 100 °C.

Zeolitic Molecular Sieves are adsorbents with well defined pore sizes and limits to adsorption selectivity. Adsorption is a surface phenomenon whereby a molecule, contained in a fluid (gas or liquid), attaches itself on the surface of a solid. Adsorbents possess high porosity with internal surface area in the order of several hundred m²/gr.

Polar & polarizable molecules & non-saturated hydrocarbons are preferably adsorbed as a result of the existence & accessibility of freely moving cations that act as adsorption sites within the zeolite framework. Make it possible to separate substances with different molecular diameters.

Note: This product is easy to absorb moisture, it should not be directly exposed to the air, and should be stored in a dry place
